Soror of the Month

Eden Westerman

The Tau Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. proudly recognizes Soror Eden Westerman as our March Soror of the Month!

Soror Westerman is a dedicated and service-driven leader whose impact spans across campus and the greater community. A senior at the University of Miami, she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Chemistry on the pre-medical track, with plans to graduate in May 2026. Her passion for bridging the gap between underrepresented communities and the medical field is evident in both her academic and service pursuits.

On campus, Soror Westerman serves as President of United Black Students, where she leads one of the university’s largest multicultural organizations. Through her leadership, she has strengthened community engagement, spearheaded impactful programming, and upheld a legacy of excellence, advocacy, and unity. 

Soror Westerman’s commitment to service is unmatched. As Co-Chair of FunDay, the University of Miami’s longest-running service event, she oversees the planning and execution of a large-scale initiative serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, coordinating hundreds of volunteers to create an inclusive and joyful experience. 

Within Tau Rho, Soror Westerman exemplifies the true spirit of sisterhood, scholarship, and service. From participating in impactful service initiatives to uplifting those around her, she continues to leave a lasting mark on the chapter and community.
