The Tau Rho Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. proudly recognizes Soror Igwilo as our January Soror of the Month! Soror Igwilo currently serves as Chapter President, leading Tau Rho with vision, grace, and an unwavering commitment to sisterhood and service.

A senior double majoring in Marine Science and Biology, Soror Igwilo will graduate in May 2026 and matriculate to a School of Veterinary Medicine, fulfilling her lifelong dream of becoming the veterinarian of color she did not see growing up. Her academic excellence and passion for representation reflect her dedication to breaking barriers and creating pathways for future generations.

Throughout her time in Tau Rho, Soror Igwilo has exemplified true servant leadership, having previously served as Fundraising Chair, Public Relations & Communications Chair, and Vice President. Beyond the chapter, she also serves as President of the University of Miami Section of the National Council of Negro Women, further demonstrating her commitment to advocacy, leadership, and community uplift.
